Lopare, Kalesija and Jajce municipalities are among the 15 municipalities involved in the final implementation phase of RMAP programme, through which UNDP provides support in development and implementation of priority projects. For these three municipalities, eleven projects have been selected on the basis of the assessment of local needs. The projects will be implemented in the next eight months as a part of previously prepared and adopted local development strategies.

On its regular session held on 1 October 2007, the Municipal Council of Goražde unanimously adopted the Rights-based Municipal Development Strategy for the period 2008-2014. The Development Strategy is based on principles of social inclusion, non-discrimination, equality and transparency and is a result of joint efforts of the municipal administration, civil society organisation and business sector, with considerable participation Goražde citizens.

28 September 2007 – On its today's regular session, the Municipal Council of Kalesija unanimously adopted the draft of the Municipal development strategy for the period 2007-2015. The strategy-building process lasted for several months. It was highly participatory and included more than 120 stakeholders (municipal representatives, citizens, non-governmental organizations and entrepreneurs).

At the regular session on 19 September 2007, the Municipal Council of Lopare adopted the draft of the Municipal Rights-based Development Strategy for the period 2007 – 2015. The Strategy was prepared by representatives of the Municipality, citizens, NGOs and entrepreneurs, with assistance of UNDP.

5 September 2007 – More than 70 municipal, civic and business sector representatives participated in the final Partnership Group meeting in Goražde, where the Draft rights-based mid-term development strategy for the period 2008 – 2014 was presented. Besides the RMAP team, UNDP BiH was also represented by the Manager of the Upper Drina Regional Development Programme (UDRDP), Mr. Guy Dionne, and his team from Foča. The Partnership Group meeting in Lopare was attended by 22 municipal, civic and business sector representatives.

31 August 2007 - The opening ceremonies for three reconstructed objects marked the latest local development activities in Teslić. Projects worth more than 158,000 KM were implemented during the course of eight months, and were supported by the UNDP’s Rights-based Municipal Development Programme (RMAP), the municipality of Teslić, the Ministry of Education and Culture of the RS and citizens of Teslić.

12 July 2007 - Formal Opening Ceremony of 3 local community facilities is the latest milestone in local development activities in Orasje municipality. Projects worth more than 200,000 KM were implemented within the past eight months and co-funded by UNDP, Orasje Municipality, Cantonal Government and the municipal residents.
